Kim Vrieling

Production Manager

Kim Vrieling hails from Kanata, Ontario and has a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB. She is currently keeping up her chops playing Baritone Sax with the Nepean Concert Band.

Kim has been a community volunteer from a young age, volunteering for local hockey tournaments and music events since the age of 11. She is very active in the Capital Region MusicFest where she sits on the Executive Committee working as Registration and Volunteer Coordinator. She also volunteers her time with KBS Dance, where little sister Jaime teaches, and serves as the Stage Manager and Technical Director for their shows and recitals.

For her 'big-girl' job, Kim is currently employed by SNC Lavalin O & M Inc. a Global Engineering and Property Management Corporation, as a Security Clearance Coordinator. While at work, Kim is in charge of the charity outreach programs for the office and helps to play "Santa" to a needy family at Christmas.

This is Kim's "lucky" 13th year with the festival and her third as Production Manager. Previously Kim has served as Operations Manager, Volunteer Coordinator, and Concert Band Stage Manager. She is thrilled to play a part in planning MusicFest's 40th Anniversary Celebrations.
