Have you ever thought about the logistics behind hosting over 10,000 guests during the course of our week long festival? Many volunteers already have! Each year, these dedicated individuals put their time, skill and enthusiasm into the event and have helped to make MusicFest Canada the largest festival of its kind in North America. Some make their volunteerism a yearly ritual!
There are a wide variety of ways in which volunteers can participate - information services, sound and recording technicians, on-site production and hospitality services assistance, communications centre operators, front of house services for our ticketed events and workshops, to name a few.
We need 200 volunteers during the festival week. MusicFest can accommodate you with volunteer shifts that still give you plenty of time to enjoy the festival.
Our management staff add years of music and educational experience to the melting pot of human resource. Extensive training sessions both before and during the festival ensure the spread of good common knowledge to one and all.

For the past 40 years, Musicfest Canada has been a driving force in music education throughout Canada. Our affiliated festivals have set the standard for music festivals. Thanks to the commitment of our many volunteers, MusicFest Canada has welcomed and enjoyed the music of thousands of talented young performers, many of which have continued to pursue careers in music. With groups participating regionally and nationally from across the country as well as from the United States, Musicfest Canada is truly an international event reflecting the mosaic of Canadian culture.
