Rico Golden Reed Award
Rico : The World's Most Popular Reeds
Since 1928, Rico reeds have been The World's Most Popular Reeds. From the start, Rico has been an unwavering innovator, with products that have become virtually synonymous with quality, consistency, and remarkable precision.
Rico will provide two $500.00 cash scholarships to the most outstanding performers on reed instruments at the festival. In most cases, one will go to a clarinetist, the other to a saxophonist. The cash awards will be presented following the festival and must be used before December 31 by individuals meeting the criteria as set out by the Board of Directors.
